Victorian mahogany panelled room to be auctioned Sat 11 May 2013

A spectacular and impressive large panelled room, reputedly from a London Gentleman's Club, will be offered for sale at an auction to be held at V&V Reclamation of Hertford on Saturday 11 May 2013 by Wellers Auctioneers. This splendid room is elaborately carved with raised and fielded panels, acanthus leaves, scrolls, floral and foliate designs, masks and pilaster columns. It includes an outstanding chimneypiece and a vestibule with stained leaded glass dated 1873 within an ornate design.


This panelled room can be reconfigured to a variety of plan shapes and sizes up to 19ft wide by 30ft long by 14ft high excluding windows giving a running total of around 100ft.

The full room is currently set up at V&V Reclamation, North Road, SG14 2PW for viewings Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday 9am - 12.30pm.
